Prof Anuradha Narasimhan participated in the Eureka! GCC Finals - a business plan competition organized by E-Cell and hosted in Dubai by Gulf Islamic Investments. 8 teams participated in the finals for prize money of $100000. E-Cell organizing team were also present at the event

Prof. Sankalp Pratap pursued his PhD from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta in the area of Strategic Management. His corporate work experience had exposed him to the micro-practices of managers across hierarchical levels and a broad range of functional domains.

Prof Anuradha Narasimhan was invited by Technology Development Board to be a jury member for National Technology Awards 2023 under categories of Mainline, MSME, Startup, Translational Research, Technology Incubators.

DSSE hosted a hybrid symposium on Entrepreneurship with in-person participants as well as online ones. The Chief Guest for the symposium was Prof Meric Gertler , President, University of Toronto.

DSSE faculty and team members organized a one-day workshop for the student teams of the Institute Technical Council – including the Racing Car Team, Team Shunya for Zero Energy, Aeromodelling Club, Autonomous Car Team etc.

Prof Ramesh Mangaleswaran, Honorary Prof of Practice IIT Bombay and Partner-Emeritus at McKinsey takes his maiden class in the course Introduction to Innovation and Entrepreneurship for 1st year students 

IDEAS Level 1 Cohort 9 had 15 teams of which 8 teams presented in the finale to mentors and DSSE officials. 6 teams will move into Level 2 of the IDEAS Program 

3 DSSE IDEAS teams were invited by Tech-Fest, IIT Bombay to showcase their ideas and innovations at Tech Connect, 2022. The teams that exhibited were Team Osiris, M/s Curaglia, and M/s Silvery Nanos

Ground breaking of the new DSSE building was held on 1st Dec 2022 and the building will take 24 months to be completed. The new building houses DSSE and Makerspace and is designed to educate, mentor and facilitate tech entrepreneurs.

Bharat Desai, DSSE's benefactor addresses Entrepreneurship students every year and takes them through lessons in Entrepreneurship through his own personal journey.

Rizwan Koita, co-founder of healthcare startup Citius Tech and Koita Foundation took time off from his busy schedule to hold an in-person class on Entrepreneurship Learnings. He spoke of failures as well as successes to an enthralled audience

IDEAS Level 1 Cohort 9 had a kickoff with all 15 teams presenting their ideas to mentors and seeking inputs. 

In Sep 2023, Prof Anuradha Narasimhan was felicitated by IIT Bombay as an achiever-alumna in the initiative IIT Bombay Gen Zero Women. She received the award from two women achievers Ms.

DSSE hosted the Mentors' Day Celebrations at VMCC with an in-person gathering. 15 IDEAS and WIE teams presented their journeys through the pre-incubation program and sought support from the mentors present. The highlight of the event was a valuable feedback session by the mentors 

IDEAS Level 1 Cohort 8 had its finale online with mentors and DSSE team members. 

Milind Kopikare, President Great Learning USA, took a guest lecture on Product Innovation and Design Thinking for Entrepreneurship students

Prof Bhallamudi Ravi finished his 3-year term as Professor-in-Charge of DSSE in July 2022. The DSSE team got together to express their gratitude and wish him well in his future endeavours 

IDEAS Level 2 Cohort 5 and WIE maiden cohorts were launched on 14th July 2022 with the teams presenting their ideas to mentors and DSSE team members

The flagship event of the WIE program is usually held on International Women's Day.
