The new building of Desai Sethi School of Entrepreneurship and Makerspace was unveiled on 31st Jan 2025 in the presence of IITB functionaries and the School’s benefactors Bharat Desai and Neerja Sethi.  This new and upcoming 1,15,000 sq. ft facility at the IIT Bombay campus will serve as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship. Students and faculty members at every stage of their entrepreneurial journeys, from undergraduates to PhDs will be benefitted. The DSSE Building at IIT Bombay, set to become operational later this year, will feature a state-of-the-art Makerspace, designed to nurture the next generation of entrepreneurs and startup technologies, alongside key spaces like Design Thinking Studio, Co-working Labs, Thematic Labs, Tinkerers’ Lab & Proof-of-Concept Lab, and Manufacturing/Heavy Equipment Labs.
