On 2nd February 2024, DSSE invited Ms Premlata Poonia (Founder  - Hamari Laado https://hamarilaado.org) to launch the On Campus program of Hult Prize 2024 (https://www.hultprize.org/), an international social entrepreneurship venture creation competition, at IIT Bombay. The on campus round of this competition is being conceptualized and organized by the Desai Sethi School of Entrepreneurship, IIT Bombay.

Prof Lina Sonne Vyas and Prof Sankalp Pratap of DSSE (https://www.dsse.iitb.ac.in/people) joined Ms Premlata in engaging with the students on the What, How and Why of Social Entrepreneurship. Drawing from her experience as a Business Leader in Cummins USA and as a Founder in Hamari Laado, Ms Premlata explained how various management functions get translated in a social venture.

The late evening session started at 9 PM and ended at 11 PM, but young students engaged in informal Q&A with Ms Premlata till 2 AM !
