The Desai Sethi School of Entrepreneurship (DSSE) at IIT Bombay hosted the DSSE Entrepreneurship Day Symposium on January 31, 2025, bringing together leading academicians, students, entrepreneurs, industry experts, and policymakers to explore ways to discuss how institutions can promote entrepreneurial mindsets and translate research into commercial success. Over 300 delegates attended the symposium which featured key note speeches from Chief Guest Dr Abhay Jere (Vice-Chairman, AICTE) and Prof Rishikesha Krishnan (Director, IIM Bangalore) as well as panel discussions involving academicians, government officials, entrepreneurs and investors. The event was graced by the School’s benefactors, Bharat Desai and Neerja Sethi. In addition to the keynote speeches and panel discussions, the DSSE Entrepreneurship Day Symposium saw student inventors and entrepreneurs being awarded the Anand Kusre awards and the Smart India Hackathon Awards.
